Dr. Ashok Agrawal is the founding member of EWB India and has been on board of EWB International. He has also been an Ex-Chairman of EWB. He is an alumni of BITS Pilani (B.Tech) and has done his MS, PhD (University of Minnesota). He has supported both his #Janmabhoomi (Uttar Pradesh) and #Karmabhoomi. In Janmabhoomi, he awarded two scholarships to the meritorious students in Government school Naukur and personally he declared donation of INR 25000 to setup the library in the school. Dr. Ashok agarwal is very passionate in social service, he wants to support the government school which are in need. With the help of EWB india, MJCET student chapter he identified the school in Erramanzil and with Nirmaan organization as a knowledge partner completed the need assessment. He supported the school by providing the raising the funds from EWB India. With the help of Nirmaan as knowledge partners and voluntary support from MJCET, he contributed in Infrastructural Renovation of the school in Phase 1 support and later handed over the school to the Head Mistress. In Phase 2, appointing 2 teachers in the school for computer education and English to increase the academic performance of children. The school Management is very thankful to Ashok agarwal sir and EWB India.
